Hydroquinone decreases the formation of melanin in the skin. Melanin is the pigment in skin that gives it a brown colour. It is applied to the dark spots daily, usually at night, onto a clean, dry face and washed off in the morning. Our hydroquinone creams are packed in airless jars and have a 4 month expiry date. Description
Hydroquinone is a bleaching agent used to lighten dark spots (pigmentation)which have occurred for several reasons including sun exposure and general ageing.
Instructions for ordering Hydroquinone Cream correctly:
If you doctor has prescribed Hydroquinone with extra ingredients simply select
- The strength of your Hydroquinone cream
- The size of the product (g)
- The number of extra ingredients (no matter their strength) prescribed
EXAMPLE: prescription that said Hydroquinone 2%, 25g, with Kojic Acid 1%, dexamethasone 0.01% you would select the following options:
- Hydroquinone 2%
- 25g size
- 2 extra ingredients

Common extra ingredients (regardless of strengths) include:
- Kojic Acid
- Ascorbic Acid
- Dexamethasone
- Salicylic Acid
- Oleic Acid
- Retinoic Acid (not to be used if pregnant or trying to become pregnant)
