Minoxidil is used in the treatment of hair loss. It is often combined with diuretic and anti-androgen Spironolactone to help with the water retaining effects of Minoxidil. It can take between 3-6 weeks to notice any results.

Minoxidil needs to be used on a continuous basis otherwise regression will occur after stopping treatment. Minoxidil is often mixed with other ingredients for example, spironolactone and P7 complex. P7 complex is a amino acid complex developed by a doctor in Melbourne to compliment the effects of Minoxidil therapy.
